Mom and Infant

Time to leave the daily stresses, noise and high-tech static behind and set aside time for the fun of your amazing relationship with your baby! Infant Massage has been described as “the language of touch” and a gift that your baby will grow into and not out of. This class is a chance to designate specific time for you to have one-on-one time in a soothing environment for interactive responses with your baby. It is also an opportunity to deliberately and more fully appreciate your infant’s individual rhythm and patterns of response.

The class will consist of a three-part series, each lasting one hour.  A variety of specialized massage strokes will be taught for all parts of the body. These strokes when done on a regular basis will encourage pre-verbal communication, contribute to deeper sleep, ease in teething and help the process of digestion. They will also help parents decrease their own stress levels.
Infant Massage is recommended for all infants up to crawling.

Participants will receive a booklet of illustrated strokes for continued use. The fee for the series is $85.
Please bring a thick blanket from home for each class.

Please sign up for classes at least 7 days in advance. Please call 847.859.2312 to register.
